Privacy policy
Short version: there are no accounts here, we never ask for your name, and we do not sell anything about you. What we do record is which pages get read and which outbound links get clicked — because that is the only way we know which parts of this site are worth keeping.

Who runs this site
The Send Stack is an independent directory and field guide to cold email and B2B outbound tools. It is run by an individual rather than a company, and it is funded by affiliate commissions rather than advertising or paid placements. There is no login, no user account and no newsletter on this site.
What we collect
Two things, both of them about pages and clicks rather than about you:
- Page views and sessions. Which pages are read, how a visitor arrived (the referring site, or the search query on Google), approximate location derived from IP address, and coarse device and browser information. IP addresses are sent to Google with the anonymisation flag set.
- Outbound link clicks. When you click a button that leaves for a vendor's site, we record the name of the tool, which page and which button placement the click came from, the destination URL, and whether the link was an affiliate link. We do not record what you do after you arrive on the vendor's site.
We collect this with Google Analytics 4. Google acts as a processor for that data, and it is handled under Google's privacy policy.
Cookies we set
We do not set cookies directly. Google Analytics sets two, both used only to tell one browser apart from another so that a returning visitor is not counted twice:
_ga— distinguishes browsers. Expires after 13 months._ga_<container-id>— keeps session state for this property. Expires after 13 months.
There are no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels and no third-party tag managers on this site.
What happens when you click an outbound link
Most links to vendors on this site are affiliate links: if you sign up through one, the vendor pays us a commission. It costs you nothing extra, and it is how the site is funded.
When you click one of those links, the vendor's site — or the affiliate network tracking the referral, such as FirstPromoter, Rewardful or PartnerStack — sets its own cookie in your browser so that a later signup is credited to this site. Those cookies are set by them rather than by us, and they are governed by their privacy policies instead of this one. We never see your name, email address or payment details; we see an aggregate count of referrals and commissions in a dashboard.
If you would rather not be tracked at all, the simplest approach is to browse with an ad or tracker blocker, or to open vendor sites by typing their address directly instead of clicking through. Everything on this site is readable without cookies.
What we do not collect
- No names, email addresses, passwords or payment details — no form on this site asks for any of them.
- No account or login data, because there are no accounts.
- No precise location. Only the approximate city-level result derived from an IP address.
- No information about what you do on a vendor's site after you leave ours.
- Nothing sold, rented or shared with data brokers. Ever.
Third parties involved
- Google Analytics 4 — page and click measurement.
- Vercel — hosts this site and keeps short-lived request logs for security and abuse prevention.
- Affiliate networks and vendors — only after you click an outbound link, and only on their own sites.
How long we keep it
Analytics data is retained for 14 months, after which it is deleted automatically. What we look at is aggregate: individual visitor timelines are not something we review.
Your choices
You can:
- Block or delete the analytics cookies in your browser settings. The site works identically without them.
- Use Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Send a global privacy signal (Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control). We honour GPC where it is practical to do so.
- Ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. Because we hold no identifying information, the practical answer is usually that there is nothing to hand over — but you are welcome to ask, and we will confirm that in writing.
If you are in the EEA or the UK, our lawful basis for analytics is legitimate interest in understanding which of our pages are useful. Google Analytics 4 is not configured here to collect advertising identifiers.
Children
This site is written for people who run cold email and outbound for a living. It is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If what we collect changes — for example if an email list is ever added — this page will be updated and the date at the top will change. Nothing here changes quietly.
